The atmosphere was electric as Eau Claire Regis clashed with Chippewa Falls McDonell in the Division 4 volleyball sectional semi-finals.

Regis coach Liz Anderson expressed her excitement, stating, "This is what you dream about. What a great environment. What a competitive back-and-forth match."
She emphasized that the team's performance was a significant step toward their goal of reaching the Resch Center.
With this win, Regis, the 2024 state runner-up, advanced to face seventh-ranked Clear Lake in the sectional final.
The Ramblers, ranked fourth in the state, improved their record to 30-9.
Meanwhile, top-ranked McDonell, who had previously defeated Regis twice during the regular season, concluded their season with a 43-3 record.
The match was a testament to the competitive spirit of both teams, with each set showcasing their determination and skill.
