Judy Clark, a cherished figure in the Chippewa Valley, has been named a 2025 Local Broadcast Legend by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA).
With a career spanning more than 35 years, Clark has become a trusted voice in Western Wisconsin.
She began her journey in radio before transitioning to television at WEAU-TV in 1990.
Since then, she has anchored and produced numerous newscasts, earning the respect of both colleagues and viewers.
Reflecting on her career, Clark expressed gratitude for the recognition.
âI am grateful to have been able to work with some of the best people in the business, talented journalists, wonderful co-workers, past and present, people who show me every day the importance of what we do, why local news matters,â she said during her acceptance speech.
The WBA's Local Broadcast Legend award honors individuals who exemplify a commitment to serving their local communities.
Clark's dedication to the Chippewa Valley is evident through her extensive coverage of local events and issues.
In addition to this honor, Clark was recently inducted into the Upper Midwest EMMY Chapter Silver Circle, recognizing her significant contributions to the broadcasting industry.
