Altoona High School Homecoming 2025: Rails Pride on Full Display

Altoona, WI — The 2025 Homecoming week at Altoona High School was a vibrant celebration of school spirit and community unity.

Embracing the “Welcome to the Jungle” theme, students and staff participated in themed dress-up days and spirited pep rallies throughout the week.

The Homecoming Parade, a highlight of the festivities, saw families, students, and local businesses lining the streets.

Colorful floats, the school band, and enthusiastic cheerleaders energized the crowd, setting the stage for the weekend's events.

On October 3, the Altoona Rails faced off against Baldwin-Woodville in the much-anticipated Homecoming football game.

Prior to kickoff, the Homecoming Court was presented, with the King and Queen crowned amidst cheers from the packed stadium.

The marching band and cheerleading squad delivered dynamic performances, amplifying the excitement.

Leading up to Homecoming, the Rails demonstrated strong performance on the field.

On September 19, they secured a decisive 36–12 victory over St. Croix Central.

Earlier in the season, they achieved wins against Prescott (14–0) and Black River Falls (52–14), showcasing their competitive edge.

Beyond the game, Homecoming 2025 was a testament to Altoona's rich traditions and community spirit.
