As Halloween approaches, families across the Chippewa Valley are gearing up for a season filled with costumes, candy, and community fun.

 

To help you plan your trick-or-treating adventures, here are the scheduled hours for various communities in the area:

 

Residential Trick-or-Treating Hours:

 

Eau Claire: October 31, 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM

 

Chippewa Falls: October 31, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

 

Menomonie: October 31, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

 

Altoona: October 31, 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM

 

Downtown Business Trick-or-Treating Events:

 

Downtown Eau Claire: October 25, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

 

Downtown Chippewa Falls: October 31, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

 

Downtown Menomonie: October 30, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

 

These events offer a safe and festive environment for children to enjoy trick-or-treating during daylight hours.

 

In addition to trick-or-treating, the Chippewa Valley boasts a variety of Halloween-themed events to enhance your spooky season:

 

Haunted Houses & Trails:

 

Ski Sprites Haunted House: Experience the "Wicked Oz" haunted house on October 16-18, 23-25, 30-31, and November 1, from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

 

Leffel Roots Apple Orchard's Night Maze: Navigate the night maze every Friday and Saturday through October 18, from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

 

Field of Screams Haunted Trail and Barn: The "HUNTED" themed trail runs on October 17-18, 24-25, and 31, from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

 

Special Events:

 

Dinner & Classic Horror Movie at Brewery Nonic: Enjoy a meal and a classic horror film on October 19, 26, and 31, starting at 6:30 PM.

 

Jack-O-Lantern Lane at The Local Store: Participate in a pumpkin carving contest and enjoy festive activities from October 24-26, with displays through November 1.

 

Downtown Eau Claire Zombie Crawl: Dress up and join the crawl on October 25, from 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
